Education Center releases online anger management game
Los Angeles, California - Daybreak Counseling Service a Los Angeles based anger management education center in conjunction with an online game production company has produced the first online anger management education game. Lava Flow-The Anger Management Game is designed to teach players skills that will help them manage anger.A teacher from the anger management center will also be featured on My Network TV- Decision House in an effort to help manage the anger of one house guest.
Shannon Munford M.A. MFT CAMF, the founder and president of Daybreak states, “Learning should be fun. If a client's defensive wall can be broken down through humor or entertainment then the client can be taught to change.”
The online flash based anger management game revolves around a series of questions regarding effective communication, stress management, anger management and emotional intelligence. If the player fails to answer the questions correctly they find themselves in the midst of hot flowing lava. The game concept represents how individuals receive negative life consequences when anger is not managed appropriately.
Anger Management Education is a growing business niche. It has been spawned by a media blist of stories of raging actresses and angry athletes. The majority of clients are court referred although some centers focus on private one on one executive coaching.
