Press release from: Guild Launch

Glen Allen, VA, September 5, 2007 – This latest release of Guild Launch’s (GuildLaunch.com) MMO guild hosting software represents a major improvement in the customization ability of its guild sites. Forum icons, and primary menus are now completely under the control of the guild site owner. In addition, we have improved and streamlined the user application and account creation process as well as giving users more control over the layout of images and text in posts. For a complete listing of all the new features and fixes please read this post in the Guild Launch Support Forum: http://support.guildlaunch.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=177429&gid=535

Here’s a list of some of the major features in this release:
• All Forum Icons can now be customized by uploading new icons into the file library or by correctly linking to images elsewhere on the web.
• The Primary Navigation Menu is now fully customizable and can be oriented horizontally along the top or vertically along the left side of the site. Users can also add links, use images instead of text and add custom dropdown menus to further personalize their site.
• A Friends List has been added which allows users to mark other users as “friends,” add comments about them and link to their sites and profiles.
• Image Formatting and Alignment options have been improved with easy-to-use additions to BBCode.
• “Upcoming Raid” vs. “Past Raid” info has been split into two pages which makes it much easier for users to see at-a-glance their raid status and schedule.
• The “Guild” designation is now game-specific and further customizes guild sites based on their game. For instance, on a Lord of the Rings guild site the term “Kinship” is used instead of “guild,” and on an Anarchy Online site the term “Clan” is used.
