Niederwieser aquires majority stake in German extrusion company VF-Verpackungen
Established in 1979, VF-Verpackungen with its currently 110 employees has taken a leading role on the flexible barrier packaging films market. The company is located in Sulzberg, near Kempten, in southern Germany and covers a facility area of approx. 20.000 m².
The company is planning major investments in the near future that will enable it to diversify its product portfolio further, giving Niederwieser Spa the opportunity to expand the range of its products.
VF-Verpackungen produces more than 30.000 t/year of flexible laminates based on PE, PA, PP and EVOH. With its state of the art extrusion plants it enables Niederwieser Spa to access new dynamic markets with a high growth potential.
