High-Tech Surgery Association HTC-TAMP Alliance Announces

Newark Delaware, September 1st, 2022 - TAMP, the global leader in Digital Innovation Upskilling Programs (DIUP) for doctors, and the High-Tech Surgery Association (HTC) are thrilled to announce the successful completion of The HTC DIUP Digital Surgery Program by doctor participants in 1st Cohort . The program initially welcomed 57 surgeons from 31 countries at various levels for a 12 Week + 1 Final Proposal, with some doctors opting for the "Doctor Innovator Trailblazer" level and others the "Explorer" level. The Trailblazer level includes an additional action based final proposal team co-creation which a team of 12 doctors will be pitching at the virtual event. "Vetting & Verifying" of Doctor Innovator Certificates was graciously provided by the Global Medical Doctor Validation Association GMDVA, a global non-profit, located in Brussels Belgium. Authenticated certificates can be found later at www.gmdva.org

Certified Doctor Innovators now have privileged access to 3 incentivizing "Pathways" including 1. Becoming a Doctor-Innovator Co-Facilitator (after completing an additional 2-week Knowledge Transfer Program), 2. Co-Designing/Co-Creating together with carefully selected "Partner-Providers" in the INNOVAHUB 3. Providing Doctor Innovator Services as a partner in the Corporate Digital Employee Wellness Program.

It was a remarkable journey for all the doctor participants, logging in from every corner of the globe. Many so eager not to miss even one session that they would attend in their surgical "scrubs" pre and post operative surgery. Participants had lively design thinking discussions as they worked together in a team towards their final pitch. Let's hear what some of the doctor participants had to say.

Dr. Funmilola Wuraola a general surgeon, researcher, youth and cancer advocate from Nigeria declares that she never realized how important a new innovative mindset, especially exponential thinking, was to her work as a surgeon in this digital age.

Dr. Luisa Paganini, an orthopedic surgeon from Brazil enthusiastically describes her experience in this way: "I started this journey without knowing exactly where it would lead me, but it has opened my eyes to such an array of new ideas, including processes and methods to achieve the best new ideas for products and services." Dr. Paganini emphasizes the power a new mindset has given her by asserting: "I no longer see something that I don't like and think - well, that's it. Instead, I think of how we could change it and make it more efficient. I have new approaches to how we could do it".

"The Digital Surgery program has instilled in us a design thinking mindset" concludes Pakistani Surgeon, Dr. Muhammad Ayaz, "such as how to empathize with others, know their pains and come up with meaningful solutions to mitigate those pains effectively." Dr. Ayaz declares that "It has also enabled us to harness the power of flow, mastery, passion, curiosity, and grit to rise to any challenge, thriving, even in unfavorable conditions, to achieve our goals, while decreasing burnout through the process of automation, synarchy, co-creation and incorporation of digital technology." Dr. Ayaz, in a reference to the Doctor-Innovator Co-Facilitators sharing their own real-life experiences, asserts that, "throughout the program we experienced advanced digital technology firsthand that is currently being used in the health care sector to improve access, efficacy, convenience and overall health care delivery while also empowering patients in self-care. Dr. Ayaz remarks that "after participating in this program, my knowledge about high tech surgery and digital health innovations has grown exponentially which has, in turn, broadened by horizons".

Dr. Michael Dennis Dela Paz, a minimally Invasive Surgeon from the Philippines firmly believes that:
"The journey in the digital upskilling program in surgery was a good turning point for me." Dr. Dela Paz on the ease of access: "It was an innovative program I was able to do it totally through my mobile phone, anytime, anywhere, and it amazingly connected participants from all over the world as part of an interactive and dynamic team. The portfolio and design of the weekly modules not only moved us to become empathetic, creative minds as well as solution-seeking surgeons but also inspired us "to be in the flow"- to seek and learn something new, create something helpful and have a higher purpose, enabling us to get the best out of life. I highly recommend it…You will be inspired once you see what 'flow' is all about; the design thinking process from empathy interviews up to the endless creative innovations that inevitably follow. Did I mention also that we also had fun?"

Dr. Aws AL-HUSSONA, ORL, Head & Neck surgeon from Iraq, found that "the biggest difference this digital innovation program made in me was learning how to actively put myself in the FLOW state to reach the designed level of innovator thinking. It really made a big difference in how I now think about robotic surgery as well as other related aspects of digital innovation, from the time I started all the way through until the end of this phase of the journey. I had the opportunity to exchange a wide array of experiences, engage in discussion with different health systems professionals with a wide range of ideas. By facing different obstacles, then overcoming them, I improved my ideation & planning abilities".

Dr. Luca Gordini from Italy, a specialist in Mininvasive Surgery, Hernia and Abdominal Wall Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, Digestive Surgery, considers the HTC DIUP Digital Surgery Program "an amazing journey through the world of Digital Surgery", pointing out that he was "inspired and supported by the Program Facilitators and world-renowned key opinion leaders" and that through this program was able to "expand his network of new international friends. Dr. Gordini further declares "I gained a new perspective that I will bring to my surgical practice, and I know that many new exciting opportunities will come about as a result".

As part of the certification process 12 Doctor Participants at the Trailblazer level will make their final pitch to a phenomenal VIP guest lineup, including digital health influencers, medical association leadership, medical doctor innovators, healthcare executives, investment professionals, and emerging tech luminaries that include:
