"Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" is Inspired by Merv Griffin, Produced by Dr. Leigh-Davis and is Shooting First Episodes

Dr. Leigh-Davis is on set, as the first episodes are completed of the new music trivia game show "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?"

"Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" is a new game show with the goal of getting viewers to dance, laugh, listen to music, and answer music trivia questions, all at the same time. Standing apart from the high-tech, over the top, sets of other new game shows, "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" is focused on the simple affinity people have for music. Dr. Leigh-Davis commented, "Music is the universal language."

Dr. Leigh-Davis wears many hats on the set of "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" in that she is writer, producer, and directs many episodes. For several months now, there have been mock sets of "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" installed around Los Angeles and New York, for people to be introduced to the game and try their hand at some rock 'n' roll trivia. Although compared to Rock 'n' Roll Jeopardy, "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" has music as the main feature of every question. Each round of the show has a theme such as "Metal Years," "Disco," "Singer Songwriters," and more. Moreover, "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" has background dancers and contestants have the option of dancing. Dr. Leigh-Davis has referred to the show as being "an anti-couch potato show."

No expense was spared during the development of "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?". In fact, years ago when Dr. Leigh-Davis first came up with the idea, even Merv Griffin gave his notes. Associate producer, Dee Stern, stated, "We anticipate this to be a music game show that will have viewers dancing, singing, and laughing." "Are You Ready to Rock 'n' Roll?" will be introduced on iTunes, before being launched on network TV.

Dr. Leigh-Davis is an American citizen, with a Brazilian mother and an Austrian father. Dr. Leigh-Davis is a full-time law professor, retired attorney, anthropologist, and popular legal analyst and legal correspondent, who regularly appears on NBC news, CNN and Fox news. Additionally, Dr. Leigh-Davis is also a journalist with syndicated columns in several newspapers; host of the weekly radio shows “The Real Deal” & "Success Living;" and the former host of the Court TV television show, “The Court is in Session.” Currently, Dr. Leigh-Davis hosts the TV show “Profiles in Philanthropy," which airs in syndication.
