DEAG makes market entry in Austria – setting up of the joint venture BLUE MOON ENTERTAINMENT

• Joint venture with promoter Katrin Edtmeier
• Consistent expansion of event activities in Austria
• Ticket sales of top acts such as David Garrett, Riverdance and Rock meets Classics in Salzburg, Innsbruck and Vienna already started

Berlin, September 16, 2013 - DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG (ISIN DE000A0Z23G6) expands its successful activities in Austria and sets up the joint venture BLUE MOON ENTERTAINMENT, with registered office in Vienna, together with the Austrian entertainment expert Katrin Edtmeier. DEAG will have a stake of 85% in the joint venture versus 15% for Katrin Edtmeier. The many years of event organization experience of Ms Edtmeier on the Austrian market, as well as the excellent positioning and knowhow of the entire DEAG Group, which encompasses the entire value chain of the music industry, based on the 360 degree approach, constitute a highly promising combination for the attractive Austrian market.

During the past years, DEAG has already been highly successful as a tour promoter through co-operations with Austrian promoters. This included concerts by Tom Jones, David Garrett, Nana Mouskouri, Peter Kraus, Anna Netrebko, Musikantenstadl, Night of the Jumps, Lang Lang, Max Raabe Palastrevue and Plácido Domingo. BLUE MOON ENTERTAINMENT will make a consistent contribution, as a partner of DEAG and others, towards a significant extension of these successful activities in Austria and the generation of additional earnings on this attractive market.

Katrin Edtmeier is an extraordinarily successful Austrian music manager. Between 2002 and 2013 she was the managing director of Vienna-based LS Konzertagentur, which became, very shortly after its foundation, one of the largest concert agencies in Austria. She was responsible for concerts including Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Whitney Houston, Depeche Mode and, with almost 100,000 visitors, the open air festival in Wels, the largest ever to be staged in Austria with the rock group AC/DC.

BLUE MOON ENTERTAINMENT is to become one of the leading promoters for Rock, Pop and Family Entertainment. Ticket sales for Riverdance, Rock meets Classics and David Garrett have already started and additional top acts will be available in advance sales during the coming weeks.
