Grants Management Systems, Inc. Announces New Chief Executive Officer Donald Cassady

Kensington, Md. (September 12, 2013) – Grants Management Systems, Inc. (GMS, Inc.) provider of nonprofit accounting and financial management software, and revolving loan servicing software announces the new appointment of Donald Cassady as Chief Executive Officer.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to lead and guide such a great team. As an organization we have made great strides over the years and it is such an honor to continue to move GMS to be one of the best nonprofit accounting software companies nationwide” said Cassady.

Cassady will take over from current CEO Linda Berseth who will be retiring as of October 1, 2013. Berseth will continue to work for GMS, Inc. as a consultant.

Berseth stated, “GMS has a great staff with most being former accounting executives at nonprofit organizations. It was recommended and voted on that Donald would become the new CEO and I could not be more proud. Donald has taken on and excelled at several roles throughout his career at GMS and knows the software extremely well.”

Cassady started with GMS, Inc. in December 1990 and served in various roles including being a part of the company’s field staff, and serving as the Director of Accounting Services. Before joining GMS, Inc., Cassady was the Finance Director at Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, Inc.
