Brigham Young University, Idaho selects Aurigo Masterworks™ enterprise wide to manage all campus expansion and maintenance

March 2013, Aurigo is pleased to announce that Brigham Young University, Idaho (BYUI), the largest private university in Idaho, has selected Aurigo Masterworks™ to manage all enterprise wide campus expansion, construction and maintenance projects.

When BYUI’s Information Technology Department was asked to select and implement capital project management software (CPMS) to improve the planning, design, and construction of new buildings, renovations, and other university-related construction projects, they began by assembling a “Project Charter” that identified campus needs, and critical features of the proposed CPMS. One key requirement emerged immediately; BYUI needed a cloud-based solution that would, “minimize the impact on University IT resources.
After a rigorous vendor selection process vaious solutions were evaluated and a limited set of companies were shortlisted for formal RFP evaluation. The RFP followed with demonstrations, vendor meetings and sandbox and resulted in selection of Aurigo Masterworks™ as the university’s project management solution. The primary (likely) factors where Aurigo Masterworks overtook the competition include user interface, rock solid cloud implementation, lowest total cost of ownership and most important Aurigo’s flexibility in adhering to customer requirements.
