CE files extends its service to manufacturers and suppliers of CE marked construction products

From July 1 2013, it became mandatory for any construction product covered by a Harmonised European Standard (HEN) to have a Declaration of Performance (DoP) and carry a CE mark.

CEfiles.com, a provider of CE declaration hosting, makes it easy for manufacturers and suppliers to provide the information required by the new Construction Products Regulation (CPR) to their customers.

The CE files website provides manufacturers and suppliers with a unique web address for each of their products, for example: cefiles.com/34546 and/or a QR code, which may be applied to the product packaging or the product itself, making DoP and related information instantly available to customers from their PC, smartphone or tablet.

In addition to this, customers are also able to visit the CE files web site and enter the unique CE files product code directly into the home page, for example 34546, as a further way to view the DoP and related product information.

In addition to having a product specific web page, the ability to simply scan the QR code to access product specific compliance information from a mobile device is incredibly convenient and provides customers with proof of product certification.

Upon completion of registration, companies may immediately create up to 10 product pages at no cost, with additional pages available for a small monthly subscription fee.
