SBS Worldwide Appoints David Schenk as Business Development Vice President, Chicago

SBS Worldwide, a specialist in supply chain solutions, has appointed David Schenk as its new Business Development Vice President, based in Chicago.

Schenk will focus on promoting the company’s freight forwarding and logistics services throughout the US Mid-West region.

CEO of SBS Worldwide Lars Kloch says: “We are delighted to welcome David to SBS Worldwide and feel his wide range of experience in negotiating and implementing logistics solutions will be invaluable in expanding our customer base in the Chicago region.”

Schenk has worked in international transportation since 1996. Before joining SBS Worldwide, he worked for Geodis Wilson (formerly TNT Freight Management and Wilson Logistics) based in Chicago. Prior to this role, Schenk also worked as a visiting professor at the Department of Economics, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, and as a lecturer at the University of Colorado’s School of Business and its Department of Economics. He was also been a consultant with RCG/Hagler Bailly of Boulder, CO, engaged in valuation projects of environmental and natural resources
