DuPage Senior Citizens Council and Local Seniors Benefit From A $10,000 Grant From Mass Mutual

Lombard, IL [July 22, 2022] Adam Bukowski, board member for DuPage Senior Citizens Council (DSCC), was awarded the $10,000 grant through Mass Mutual's Community Service Awards (CSA) program. Program awards are given in honor of financial professionals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to nonprofit organizations in their local communities.

"The services DSCC provides to homebound and at-risk seniors require substantial funding that is sometimes hard to secure, said Marylin Krolak, Executive Director at DSCC. "Having caring and compassionate professionals like Adam who continually advocate for seniors allows us to do what we do."

Over the past seven years, Adam has diligently served with DSCC. Starting as a volunteer, Adam has also served as charity event chair, board member and currently serves as DSCC's board treasurer.

"We are very proud of Adam", said Krolak. "Adam's hard work and tireless commitment to our seniors, advocating and helping secure grants helps fund the programs our seniors need."

As a 501(3)c) nonprofit, DSCC relies on corporate and private donations and grants. Krolak added, "We are so grateful for organizations like Mass Mutual who are committed to the communities they serve".
