The Blood King is book two in the series that began with the February 2007 launch of The Summoner. The Blood King is slated for a February 2008 release from UK-based Solaris Books.
Book One: The Summoner was released in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia in late January, and sold through its first printing in just three weeks.
Now on its third printing, The Summoner is available in bookstores and online around the world. The Blood King concludes the story of Tris Drayke, an outlaw prince must master his untested spirit magic to avenge his family, unseat a usurper and keep an ancient evil from escaping the abyss.
