PerfectLum Software for Qualityassurance of Medical Displays
Test protocol for DIN6868-57 acceptance test
GOSSEN METRAWATT, manufacturer of test and measurement technology for use in medical instituts has integrated a Software for Qualitycontrol of Diagnostic Displays
In Cooperation with QUBYX Ltd. the Software PerfectLum was adopted to work with the measurement devices from GOSSEn and to allow an automatic datatransfer of measured values.
SECULIFE PerfectLum was developed for the use in medical imaging applications and includes a DICOM Calibration, Display-Profiling and Acceptance- and Constancy testing according to the existing and future standards for quality control in medical diagnostics such as DIN V 6868-57/ DIN6868-157, AAPM, IEC61223-2-5 or IEC 62563-1. It also offers an integarted scheduler and test report generator. A free of charge Remote-Software, that is included in the delivery, opens the possibility of remote maintenance and control inside a medical institute or even inside a connected group of hospitals.
In cooperation with the GOSSEN MAVOSPOT Spotmeter the user is guided automatically through all necessary steps of the acceptance and constancy testing. Beside the display of related test pattern the user can use Help-Buttons to receive instructions how to perform the steps of the testing. At the end of all necessary test steps and automated data transfer to the workstation a comparision of the measured values with the allowed tolerances will be done and a test report will be created which can be exported in PDF format. This documentation format is compatible to the requested format by local governments. An automated backup function can be enabled by the user.
The use of an high quality measurement device in combination with the userfriendly operation of the Software can guarantee best possible performance and is easy to use.
