Art project "Freight - Frontiers of Freedom"

„Freight - Frontiers of Freedom" is an art project by photographer Linn Marx and philosopher Kolja Lehmann-Muriithi. The strange, paradoxical and critical aspects of global freight transport are dealt with in a travelling exposition going from Lutterbek to Hamburg, Reykjavik, Hawaii, San Francisco, the Burning Man Festival in Nevada, Mexico City and New York. Pictures by Linn Marx are shown as a visual projection and are underscored with music and questions. Their "freight" is a box holding the equipment for their performance and also some symbolic freight. The interactivity with the audience and the online community is an integral part of the project.
