KNIFE. BLADE. STEEL. First Exhibition of the German Knifemakers Guild DMG in Dresden
Small Three-finger-knife made of Leopard-Damast and mammoth ivory handles
The exhibition with international importance will be opened from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Making blades and knives is one of the oldest arts of mankind.
Therefore it is a hearts desire to show masterpieces of Saxon and international knifemakers for the first time in the Saxonian Capital for the inhabitants and their visitors.
The artworks of well known representatives of blade manufacturing from Germany and foreign countries will be shown for the first time in the new parts of Germany.
In order to encourage new knifemakers to show their pieces, the DMG has decided, also to give tables to exhibitors, which are not members of the DMG. Most important is the quality and fineness of each handmade knives.
It should be understood that of course the knives, which are shown at the exhibition, have must been made completely by hand.
Not only blades and custom knifes will be sold at the exhibition, but also unique handmade jewelry will be offered. Lovers of unique pieces will be excited.
Highlight of the show will be a knife raffle: every visitor of the exhibition has the chance to win one of three handmade knives made by members of the DMG.
The only condition for taking part at the raffle is a registration at the checkin of the exhibition.
For everyone who wants to become inspired by the passion of steel, unique materials and highest quality of precision work, this new knife-show in Dresden is a must. Don´t miss it!
