Battery-Specialist e-Wolf presents Intelligent Energy Storage System on the Intersolar 13

The German battery specialist e-Wolf has premiere with its Intelligent Energy Storage System (IESS) on the solar fair Intersolar in Munich (19. to 21. of June 2013/Hall B2, Booth 170O). The modular, stationary battery storage system allows the supply and recharging of electricity, e.g. from renewable energies to increase significantly the self-consumption of electricity from buildings.

Through its modular concept and configurable communication interface, the IESS can be individually adjusted to different profiles, for instance is a battery capacity from 4 kWh to 1 MWh possible. Thereby the modular construction reduces significantly the effort for service and installation.

The Intelligent Energy Storage System is based on battery-modules whose system-design is derived from the automotive-industry. A maximum of safety, intelligent power electronics and low operational costs are combined in the IESS. Li-Ion cells with ceramic Separator guarantee high energy density and cycle-stability. Real-Time Monitoring and Diagnosis of the battery-system ensure a long life-time and high-performance.

e-Wolf GmbH, located in the Cologne-region in Germany is specialised in the development, production of battery-systems and electric vehicles. After its establishment in 2009 e-Wolf developed within six months a 250 km/h extreme sports cars with electric drive to demonstrate the possible performance of electric vehicles. Since then e-Wolf electric vehicles have travelled approx. 1 Mio. kilometres. Based on these Automotive-experiences e-Wolf offers now modular, stationary battery storage system for different profiles.
