WINNERS for the 8th Annual DRAMM/OFA 5K Relay

August 20, 2007 – Funds raised from runner/walker registration fees and sponsorships totaled over $5,000. All proceeds of the relay benefited America In Bloom; an organization dedicated to promoting nationwide beautification programs through the use of flowers, plants, and trees.

Teams competed at Goodale Park in Columbus, Ohio for first, second and third place awards that were honored at the OFA Short Course Awards Ceremony on Saturday, July 14th.

Carbon Footsprint finished in 1st place with a finishing time of 22:50. Carbon Footspint team consisted of: Ed Lauer, Albert J. Lauer Inc.; Kurt Parbst, Svensson; Scott Thompson, XS Smith Inc.; and Clay Crider from CrederAmericas.

In 2nd place was Team Grower Talks with a time of 24:21. Team Grower Talks runners comprised of: Lucas Nicholas, Ball Publishing; Chris Beytes, Grower Talks Magazine; Jennifer White, Ball Publishing; and David Ross from Se PRO Corp.

In 3rd place Mix-Match Team had a finishing time of 25:18. Runners for this team included: Bill Riffey, Yoder Brothers Inc.; Jeff Collard, Eberly Public Relations; Erick Baumann and Eric Liu from Argus Control Systems.

TrueLeaf Technologies showed pride by dressing up in 70’s apparel.
