The new EasyCards index card (flash card) app for smartphones from Buchbäcker Digital replaces the traditional index card box
Munich, 28th May 2013 - The scene has changed substantially on public transport or in lounges: Instead of taking a nap, many people spend their time more productively using their smartphone or tablet PC to obtain information or to work. The handy EasyCards index card app from the Munich publishing company Buchbäcker Digital now allows users to test their knowledge on the go. In handy pocket size, the well-tried index card system now accompanies pupils, students and grown-ups wherever they go. "Especially on public transport or in the doctor's waiting room, we often have a few minutes to learn via iPad or iPhone. It was in such a situation that I had the idea of designing an index card (flash card) app to test one's vocabulary, for instance", Andreas Abstreiter, managing director of Buchbäcker Digital, explains his idea. For more information on the innovative index card app for iOS, see: http://www.buchbaecker-digital.com.The useful index card (flash card) app for virtually everything
The new EasyCards index card app can now be used to learn efficiently on the bus, train or between lessons. The new app for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini not only replaces the traditional index card box, it also offers many more useful functions. There are no limits to the creativity of the user: whether learning new words, complicated chemical formulas or business know-how using the index card system. Depending on their own learning style, users of the EasyCards index card app decide themselves whether they want to learn pictorially with photos, with text or multiple-choice. The complex physics formula, too, is quickly photographed from the blackboard to be added easily to the index card system immediately or later on.
The smartphone as exchange platform for digital index cards (flash cards)
The individual index cards can be created easily at home at the Mac or PC and can be transferred to the iOS device as CSV file – this time-saving import/export function is quick and straightforward and offers the additional benefit of sharing and exchanging the digital file cards with friends within seconds. "In the learning or test mode, for instance, the knowledge can be tested quickly on demand, and the informative bar charts or time countdown function allow users to track their learning progress", Andreas Abstreiter explains additional functions of the useful app which can also be downloaded in an English version. A free trial version is available at: http://www.buchbaecker-digital.com.
