AXIT publishes guideline for cloud computing in logistics - Xperience Booklet shows practical examples for the use of this IT technology

In time for the transport logistic 2013 AXIT AG will publish the first guidelines for the use of cloud computing in logistics. The „Xperience Booklet“ informs about current topics and questions concerning this IT technology in a practical way. Experts explain what the implementation of cloud-based solutions depends on, which security and legal factors need to be observed and how to make cloud projects a success.
„As a supplier of cloud services we consider it our duty to do offensive communications work in order to create security in handling the cloud“, explains Holger Schmitt, CEO and co-founder of AXIT AG. The Xperience Booklet gives the reader answers to relevant questions regarding the realization of cloud projects. To achieve this the guideline looks at the topic from various perspectives: Where are the application areas in logistics? What needs to be considered when selecting a cloud provider? How are cloud projects implemented and what legal aspects have to be considered?
