NDS ANNOUNCES THE SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF EDUCATIONAL „SESAME STREET GAMES“ ON CABLEVISION‘S iO: INTERACTIVE OPTIMUM® DIGITAL CABLE SERVICE

Children Ages 2-5 can interact with Elmo, Big Bird, Bert & Ernie and the rest of their favorite Muppets from Sesame Street

Las Vegas (CES) – January 5, 2006 – NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, in partnership with Cablevision Systems Corp. announced today the successful launch of Sesame Street Games now available to Cablevision‘s iO digital cable customers throughout the New York metropolitan area. In collaboration with Cablevision and Sesame Workshop, NDS played a lead technology role in the design and development of this groundbreaking interactive games service. The games, created for children two to five years old, enable kids to interact with the beloved Sesame Street characters, while learning shapes, colors, numbers, letters and other basic skills.

Sesame Street Games offer a very simple but effective design to enable young children – either alone or along with their parents – to play and learn with the Sesame Street characters.

The launch of these games follows on the very successful interactive games which NDS has created for other major kids‘ television brands.
