MLC PR SIGNS VH1’S “I HATE MY 30s” STAR RACHAEL LAWRENCE

Los Angeles, CA (August 13, 2007)— Mona Loring, president of MLC PR announced today that Rachael Lawrence, star of VH1’s new scripted comedy, “I Hate My 30s,” has signed on for their PR services. “I Hate My 30s” is a comedy centered on the issues children of the 80s face with life’s demanding 30-something responsibilities.

“Rachael is a comic genius. There are very few young, hot, funny females in Hollywood right now,” says Mona Loring, President of MLC PR. “I love that Rachael fills a certain void while bringing widespread and authentic talent to the table.”
The most interesting aspect to Lawrence’s story is her relationship with her “I Hate My 30s” cast. It all started when her closest friends from USC worked together to perform sketch comedy under the name “Another Showcase Showdown.” Their hard work paid off and in 2002, they were accepted into the Aspen HBO Comedy Arts Festival.

Drama 3/4 Productions came about when a couple of those friends formed their own production and management company. Little did they know that a big break was just around the corner. The VH1 network offered the friends the opportunity to make a television show.

On air now, it is the only scripted comedy on VH1. “I Hate My 30s” was born from the minds of the group, produced by Drama 3/4 Productions, and Lawrence is currently cast as Vicki, the 25-year-old, 80s rock, loud-mouthed receptionist.

As the youngest cast member on the show, Rachael’s spunk and talent brings the show to a whole new level. Her musical expertise as a certified voice coach under the world famous voice coach, Seth Riggs has provided her with the opportunity to write most of the songs that are performed on the show.
