(PROVIDENCE, R.I.) March 5, 2013 – Pollo Campero, the Latin restaurant leader beloved worldwide for its signature flavors, today announced the location of its newest restaurant opening on March 12. The new restaurant located at 661 Atwells Ave at Eagle Square, will create an estimated 60 new jobs for the Providence community.

“This is an exciting year of strategic growth for us,” said President and COO of Campero USA, Roberto Denegri. “On the heels of our successful grand opening in Puerto Rico, we are excited to be back in the states and in a community like Providence where we have such a huge fan base. It’s a community where we are known and loved and where we want to keep growing.”

Pollo Campero is known worldwide for its Latin inspired, marinated grilled and fried chicken, which uses the same recipe and high quality signature blend of spices used in 1971 when its first Guatemalan location opened. Other fan favorites include the crispy yucca fries, sweet plantains and Latin drinks such as horchata and tamarindo.

“When a new Pollo Campero opens it’s not unusual to see long lines of customers waiting for a taste of our grilled or crispy Latin chicken. We look forward to introducing new customers to our fresh and famous Latin flavors, and invoking childhood memories to guests who have visited us in the past,” Denegri added.
