The TV guide „ON AIR“ launches all new free Android app, introduces new design and push reminders

ON AIR launches an all new Android app in the UK and Ireland, offering free listings for over 400 channels and featuring a innovative new design. The app was first introduced with an extensive beta testing phase, during which it received over 100,000 downloads in Google Play and an impressive 4.5 star user rating. The app includes push reminders for programmes, TV highlights picked by the editorial staff and many customising options - while offering a fast and reliable user experience for Android devices such as smartphones and tablets.

In January ON AIR for Android was previewed exclusively for Amazon customers on the Amazon App-Shop, where the app is available in a special version for the new Kindle Fire as well as for all other Android devices. The app was picked by the Amazon App-Shop as the featured „App of the Week“ in the United Kingdom and also received a 4.5 star user rating.

With the additional feature of push reminders for programmes ON AIR now becomes available as a free download on Google Play for all Android smartphones and tablets.
