Mr. Guthrie then help divide the items such as clothing by whether it was for a boy or girl and then broke down the items based on the clothing size or age designation. Attorney Guthrie was one of many volunteers that gathered in a former furniture store that was gracious enough to provide a staging area for the assembly of the gift bags for the students. There was plenty of space to store the items that would eventually become the completed gifts. The many items including toys, clothes and supplies came courtesy of many generous individual donors and businesses. Mr. Guthrie was happy to be part of such a worthy project that would make so many elementary students happy at a time of year that may not be as happy for some children. Attorney Guthrie had fun helping with the project and looks forward to helping again in the coming year.
