Press release from: Munich Innovation Group GmbH

Munich, Germany (February 15, 2013) – Munich Innovation announces the availability of a patent for user authentication for online services.

The patent covers a method and devices for authenticating a user accessing a server. It is specifically related to a method, a computer program product, and a computerized server for authenticating a user using a communication terminal to access the server via a telecommunications network.

„The complexity of attacks against login mechanisms over the Internet is rapidly growing and current security systems are not always able to provide a proper solution to avoid these attacks,“ says Wolfgang Maennel, Senior Partner at Munich Innovation. „Security administrators have begun to shift their focus from securing the network perimeter to authenticating individual users.“

The patent covers applications such as banking & finance, healthcare, government, defense, travel & immigration, consumer electronics and commercial security.

Munich Innovation will shortly be approaching potential buyers of the intellectual patent and will be available to discuss the patent in more detail.

To receive more information about this opportunity, please contact Wolfgang Maennel at wm@munich-innovation.com.
