Simplex Conveyor LLC Releases the All Purpose MDR Docksider Single Stage Extendable Conveyor

The All Purpose MDR Docksider is the second release in our versatile line of Reversible MDR Single Stage Extendable Conveyors designed specifically to meet the needs of today's high throughput environments.

The All Purpose Docksider combines the versatility of a belted conveyor with the advantages of today's MDR Technology. This unit has a 5’ long belted entry section and the remaining rollers can be coated (optional). Other options include Slider Section Side Guards, Roller Brake, 2 Roller Transfer, Run on Demand and Heavier Gauge Rollers.

The Docksider is available in 6”-6 & 9”-0” extensions with retracted lengths of 9’-0” & 12’-0” respectively. While BF dimensions of 24”, 30” & 36” with 37-1/2” MDR zones and speeds to 328 fpm are standard, BF dimensions up to 48” are available. We can also provide any non-standard configuration your operation may require in about the same time as our standard units.. And, we use the same Holjeron 35 Watt 24V DC High Torque MDR in all applications.

Dual Operator Controls and Reversing are standard on all Docksiders. The Dual Operator Controls feature allows an operator to start, stop, reverse product flow and extend or retract the slider section from either side, eliminating the need for RH or LH specific units. For uni-directional operation, select the direction and simply secure the reverse switch cover plates. Or, if preferred, the reverse switches can be omitted during the assembly process.

All Docksiders are shipped ready to run once positioned and anchored, by merely plugging it into any standard 110V AC power source. The design is setup to provide simple integration of an optional 2 Roller Transfer which can be used in both the uni-direction and bi-directional operation but is not a requirement for either. Being a self contained 110 volt plug-in unit, all Docksiders can be adapted to be fully portable for use at more than one location.
