Press release from: OTI Greentech AG

- OTI Greentech increases market presence in the Middle East with a focus on Cleaning and Environmental Services;
- OOISS is one of the leading oilfield supply companies in Oman and is majority owned by the one of the leading Omani business groups, the Zubair Corporation;
- Oman's growing economy increasingly shows a demand for sustainable solutions.

Zug, 12th February 2013, OTI Greentech AG, a leading provider of environmentally friendly solutions for cleaning, recovery and disposal of oil in a wide variety of applications, has expanded its market presence in the Middle East by signing a distribution agreement with Oman Oil Industry Supplies & Services LLC (OOISS). OTI Greentech’s awarded EcoSOLUT™ products will now be available in one of the fastest growing economies in the Gulf. Established in 1974, OOISS operates a large technical sales/logistics and support services business that is geared towards being an integral part of the supply chains of the world-class oil exploration and production companies active in the Sultanate of Oman.

Over the past year, EcoSOLUT™ products have been used successfully by various shipping, oil service and waste management companies. Demand for the products has increased significantly, requiring the company to expand its international distribution network as a matter of priority. Oman, with one of the fastest growing economies in the Gulf region, shows increasing demand for sustainable high-performance solutions in the cleaning and treatment of waste streams from oil production and storage tanks. OTI Greentech’s product portfolio complements the existing portfolio of OOISS and creates new capabilities in its range of cleaning and environmental services.

“With Oman Oil Industry Supplies and Services Company we have managed to secure leading and well respected partners in an important market for the distribution of our products. Our products set new standards in cost efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness in the tank and equipment cleaning sector.”, Stephan Rind, President of OTI Greentech AG commented on the execution of the new agreement.

"OOISS takes pride in providing its clients a one-stop shop for all oil industry related requirements. Our clients come to us with requirements from across the Oil & Gas industry operations here in the Sultanate and expect that we offer world-class solutions", said Roel Berendsen - Asst. General Manager, Sales and Marketing of OOISS. "Oman's crude and LNG are relatively costly to produce and the Sultanate has high standards for the environmental protection of its natural beauty. We are therefore always on the lookout for innovative and cost effective products and services to add to our portfolio. We are excited to add OTI Greentech's patented range of EcoSOLUT™ environmentally sustainable products to the full range of well operations and water & process treatment chemicals we already offer the industry."
"The transaction has been arranged by Marc Bode of Mountain Partners Group, a global investment management group, headquartered in Switzerland."
