New Off-Grid Testing Lab
GOLDEN, CO, 22 January 2013Positive Energies is establishing an off-grid lab in Golden, Colorado. The off-grid lab will develop, test, and verify power and energy technologies for off-grid or minimally served commercial operations. Examples of applications are light manufacturing factories, water purification and distribution facilities, communications, medical facilities, and hotels/resorts. Examples of technologies are DC microgrids, fuel cells, micro-hydro and micro-wind, solar, geothermal, and electric storage systems.
Dan Gregory, CEO of Positive Energies, notes: "The off-grid lab will support NGOs, philanthropic organizations, foundations, and local governments with clean, sustainable, and practical solutions.”
