CopperCube 4 released with Android support and Particle Systems

Vienna, Austria - Jan 24 2013 - Ambiera is proud to announce the release of CopperCube 4.0. The new version enables the creation of complex Android apps and 3D games with no programming knowledge. It also includes the long awaited support for Particle Systems.

CopperCube was already capable of creating games and applications in 4 different formats (Windows app, Mac OS X app, Flash website app, WebGL website app) before, and now a fifth format has been added: Android apps, running on Android devices with OpenGL ES support, starting with Android version 2.2.

CopperCube 4 includes the following new features:

- Touch screen support for mobile devices
- Customizable loading screen support
- Improved text rendering, including multi-line text
- New and improved actions and behaviors, to make it possible to create more complex games, like for example Vehicle behavior.
- Possibility to automate the editor via command-line and scripts
- New prefabs and example apps
- Performance improvements for all publishing targets

Coppercube imports 23 different 3D file formats and is able to create interactive 3D apps with physics, lighting, game AI and more. No programming knowledge is necessary for creating apps with CopperCube. The editor includes a simple Behavior/Action system with that enables the 'scripting' of complex processes. CopperCube 4 now extends this system with more Actions, so that even more complex applications can be created easily: The capability to dynamically clone any 3D object and to delete it again, as well as vehicle behavior supporting properties to name just a few.

With one single click, it is possible to create Flash .swf, Windows .exe, WebGL .html, Mac OS X .app or now even Android .apk files with CopperCube. With the new Particle System, these apps now can be even more interactive and appear more alive. As everything in the editor, particle systems can be completely customized using a very simple user interface. All properties like particle amount, direction, speed, gravity, emitter area, colors, and the like, can be easily adjusted.

Pricing and availability
CopperCube offers a free trial period of 14 days, after which you can purchase the Light Edition for 99 Euro, or the Professional Edition for 299 Euro. Existing Copper Cube users who upgrade to the new version benefit from a discount.
