On February 3-6, 2013, SGS will be participating at the ISPO Munich in Germany. Throughout the entire event, SGS will present its wide portfolio of services for sporting goods and will discuss topics like Social Compliance and Environment in hall 3 at booth no 126.

As the only international multi-segment trade show for the sports business, the ISPO Munich offers a great overview of industry trends and innovations. More than 2,000 international exhibitors will exhibit their entire range of sporting goods from the outdoor, ski, action and performance sports segments.

Throughout the trade show, SGS experts will discuss NGO requirements and describe the initiatives as wells as synergies around topics like Social Compliance and Environment. Furthermore, the SGS expert team will discuss the importance of carbon footprint (http://www.sgs.com/en/Sustainability/Environment/Carbon-Services/Greenhouse-Gas-Emissions-and-Lifecycle-Assessment/Carbon-Footprint.aspx) and will contribute case studies including the carbon footprint of the ISPO Snow Ice & Rock Summit 2012 - a popular get-together for the outdoor, ski and backcountry industry.
