The 12mm dc gear motor, consisting of a metal gear box and a high power dc brush motor, is a key component for the electrical and electronic applications that need high torque, slow speed and fine controlling. It is ideal for industrial equipment, robots, electronic locks or medical tools.

The unit weighs only 10 gram and features a 3 pole ferrite brush motor (D12mm* L15mm) with a straight cut open gearbox, sintered bronze bearings and steel geartrain. The gearbox measures only 12 mm (diameter) x 11 mm (Length). Other characteristics are: 4mm D-shaped extended shaft from the gear side, two mounting holes threaded for M1.6 screws on the brass faceplate.
