As Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Burton will oversee all aspects of PeakColo’s branding, online activity, public relations, and lead generation efforts in order to meet the company’s rapid growth demands.

Additionally Ms. Burton instituted lead generation, corporate communications and analyst relations functions. Prior to ViaWest, Ms. Burton held management roles at Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink) in both marketing and product management.

Ms. Burton holds both an M.S. in Telecommunications Engineering and an MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder and B.S. in Business Administration.

“We are very excited to welcome Laurel to the team,” said Luke Norris, CEO and Founder of PeakColo. “Laurel has a wealth of industry-related experience and a keen understanding of our strategic goals. I fully expect her efforts to have a profound influence shaping the company’s channel-centric go to market strategy.”

PeakColo recently raised $7.5 million in growth equity capital from Meritage Funds and Sweetwater Capital. This investment will fund growth to meet customer demand in the Company’s current markets and expansion into two additional markets over the next twelve months.
