ZF launched the world's first electric front-axle vehicle parked in March 2020. It is a relatively inexpensive product that can be installed in A-segment vehicles, which account for 28% of European new car sales (~4 million units).

The commercial vehicle sector may be the next most important sector for electric parking brake suppliers today due to the low penetration of electric parking brakes.
