Redemption Kickstarter Campaign: MP3.com Star Paul Spaeth Returns with Second Album

Los Angeles, CA (November 26, 2012) – Before iPods were even invented, Paul Spaeth’s debut album, Cobalt Blue had 1.6 million downloads on MP3.com, and he was recognized as the Top Artist in LA and remained in the Top-Ten of Amazon’s download chart for months. Now, over a decade later, his much-anticipated second album of touching piano music, Redemption, is ready for release.

Continuing to shun traditional release methods, Paul is forgoing a record label to self-release his album. With the surge in digital technology and new media, the market is becoming easier for artists to retain control of their work by releasing an album themselves.

The biggest hurdle for an artist without a label is properly promoting an album to reach a wide audience. Although his cinematic piano music could easily find its way to a niche, Spaeth does not feel his music belongs in a particular category.
