App Market for case management solution in the Cloud

Action Solutions AG has launched the App Market for Bimixs, their case management platform. Bimixs apps are casetypes designed for specific application domains. Users can customize the apps by downloading their definition files – the casebooks.

Zug, Switzerland, 22 November 2012. Action Solutions has launched the App Market, an innovative extension to its cloud solution BIMIXS. The App Market gives an overview of the apps available in Bimixs and allows users to download the apps' definition files – the casebooks – to create their own apps based on these templates. No programming is required: users only need to have Microsoft Excel installed locally in order to use the casebooks and to define their own apps.

BIMIXS apps are casetype implementations. Casetypes classify a case and normally include additional forms, fields and rules. All of the apps are ready for direct use.

Packs are available for Change Management, Customer Services, Sales Support, Human Resources and Project Management. Each pack includes different apps suitable for various casetypes. The download provides an example casebook, which serves as a template to define all of the casetypes included in the pack.

Users can define more casetypes themselves using the casebook template. Once downloaded in the App Market, they can be modified and uploaded again to create own casetypes, including forms, fields and rules. Casetypes are created within minutes and are ready for customers to use immediately in the BIMIXS live environment.

BIMIXS allows users to build their own case management application without needing to buy software licenses or hardware. Everything is available in the cloud – and can be implemented using only our user-friendly casebooks, with no programming necessary.
