DENSO at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021: Efficient

Europe’s largest event for RFID & Wireless IoT technologies will take place on October 20th and 21st, 2021 at the RMCC in Wiesbaden. DENSO is one of the exhibitors at the hybrid event.

Düsseldorf. The RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021, Europe’s largest event for RFID and wireless IoT solutions, will be organized as a live event in the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden. A separate digital event will take place parallel to the live event.

On 4,000 square meters at the RMCC in Wiesbaden, exhibitors present their technologies, which enable processes in all economic areas, for example in retail and logistics. High security requirements can also be fulfilled with the innovative technologies.

DENSO WAVE EUROPE, member of the Toyota Group, is one of the exhibitors and can be found at booth number 47. The experts at DENSO address the branches industrial IoT and maintenance, automotive, logistics and supply chain, healthcare, retail, smart city, consumer IoT, as well as the security sector with innovative RFID devices and IoT solutions. Information on the innovative Auto-ID solutions and IoT solutions as well as RFID devices from DENSO WAVE EUROPE is available at https://www.denso-wave.eu.

For the first time, there will be no separation between exhibition and conference at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow. The conference is integrated into the exhibition this year, so that lectures are held directly in the exhibition hall and the entire event is concentrated there.

David Walker, RFID expert at DENSO WAVE EUROPE, will also give a lecture on October 20th at 10:20 a.m. and show the advantages that RFID offers to the retail industry. “RFID is one of the key technologies to master the new challenges of the industry and economy. Retailers in particular have to guarantee an error-free inventory and a functioning supply chain due to the modern omni-channel concept. Without the right RFID solutions, it will hardly be possible to compete against other companies,” he explains.

RFID can precisely record the inventory of a company, for example in retail or logistics, and achieve an accuracy of up to 99 percent, Thus, RFID eliminates the problem of out-of-stock goods that occurs due to poor inventory accuracy. This minimizes stock shortages.

Overall, RFID is extremely versatile, which makes the technology attractive for precisely those areas that will be addressed at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021. Visitors at the trade fair in Wiesbaden and participants of the digital event receive the latest information and innovative solutions from the areas of digitization and networking, process automation, Industry 4.0, AI and analysis tools, sensors, and robotics from DENSO WAVE EUROPE and other exhibitors.

The high-performance use of technology for data transmission and object identification will also be an important topic at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow. Further information on Europe’s leading event for users, integrators and developers of RFID and wireless IoT technologies is available at https://www.rfid-wiot-tomorrow.com/.

In addition to David Walker as an RFID expert, Dirk Gelbrich, General Manager Technical Department at DENSO WAVE EUROPE, will participate at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021 and present the data management platform ORiN at DENSO's booth.
“ORiN provides a middleware with which information from various automation devices can be collected more efficiently and shared with manufacturing systems, BI tools, and cloud solutions. This way, a data network environment can be created in the company,” explains Gelbrich.

As a data management platform, ORiN helps, among other things, with process optimization, as companies can collect data from production devices, save process histories and visualize processes using a web-based drag & drop dashboard.

In the retail sector, ORiN can combine devices such as PTZ cameras, EAS gates, and RFID readers to form a complete system. Hence, data can be collected and, for example, the collection of statistics can be initiated.

“With our data management platform, it is also possible to think beyond the boundaries of a company. ORiN can even create a smart city, for example through the management of bus stops and subway stations as well as the monitoring of public facilities. This is what IoT can provide in regards to the administration of a city,” says Gelbrich. He is looking forward to discussing further possibilities with visitors at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow.
