eps scandinavia supports 3 shows in a row at Copenhagen´s Parken Stadium

Michael Jackson – The Immortal World Tour (Cirque Du Soleil) & Sensation – Source Of Lights

Those were some busy days (and nights) the Scandinavian eps crew had to go through.
It all started with Canadian based Cirque Du Soleil, presenting 2 nights of the impressive Michael Jackson show “The Immortal World Tour” on October 28th and 29th.

eps provided almost 5.200 m² of its aluminium flooring system “Arena Panels” to support the extra heavy and massive stage construction, which was necessary to present an impressive mix of visual effects, dance, music and phantasy to celebrate the heritage of the King Of Pop, who died in 2009. Besides this 150 tons of aluminium eps also provided 3.800 folding chairs for the stadium pitch, making a total capacity a 20.000 possible per show.

When planning the set up for Cirque Du Soleil eps also had to keep in mind that only 6 days later the dance event “Sensation – Source Of Lights” would hit Parken Stadium, using the same flooring for their stage layouts and as roads for set up and tear down. Of course no chairs needed here, but Sensation asked for 200m of Gigs stage barriers eps could also provide of course.
