Gardere Honored in 2013 ‘Best Law Firms’ National Rankings

AUSTIN/DALLAS/HOUSTON - Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, one of the most respected full-service law firms in the Southwest, has earned selection to the 2013 “Best Law Firms” list published by U.S. News & World Report and The Best Lawyers in America.

Compiled by U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers®, the annual “Best Law Firms” rankings recognize the nation’s top firms in different practice areas. According to the publishers, Gardere’s selection to the 2013 list illustrates the Firm’s unique combination of legal excellence and breadth of expertise.

Gardere’s Tax Litigation practice scored first-tier national honors, and the Firm’s Austin-based Government Relations practice earned first-tier metropolitan honors. In Dallas and Houston, Gardere earned first-tier metropolitan honors for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, Corporate Law, Criminal Defense: White Collar - Governmental Investigations, Environmental Law, Family Law, Mergers & Acquisitions Law, Patent Law, Tax Law, Technology Law and Trust & Estates Law. The Firm also earned first-tier metropolitan recognition in the Antitrust, Bankruptcy, Commercial, Construction, Criminal Defense: White Collar, Eminent Domain & Condemnation, Environmental, Tax and Securities Litigation practice areas.

In addition to the Tier 1 rankings, Gardere also scored Tier 2 and Tier 3 rankings at the national and metropolitan level for a number of additional practice areas.
