Country Club opens fitness & vacations center in Jaipur

• Combines concept of fitness and customized vacations

Hyderabad, October 30, 2012: Hyderabad based Country Club India Ltd (CCIL), India’s largest and fastest growing leisure and entertainment conglomerate has opened an exclusive fitness and vacations center at Jaipur to provide health enthusiasts in Jaipur with the opportunity to plan their vacations under one roof.
The latest fitness cum vacation center was inaugurated by Yana Gupta, a famous Bollywood actress.
Country Club’s latest fitness and vacations center in Jaipur is equipped with the state-of-the-art fitness tools and qualified trainers. This launch is part of CCIL’s Rs. 350 crores expansion plan that aims to introduce fitness centers across India and abroad.
Commenting on the introduction twin concept of fitness and vacations, Mr. Y. Rajeev Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of CCIL, said “Along with increased health consciousness, a rising number of Indians are leisure travelling both within the country and internationally. We are combining the concepts of fitness and a lifetime of customized vacations to create a win-win proposition for our members. In fact, we have received excellent response to the five pilot projects which we recently launched at Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thane”
Mr. Y Rajeev Reddy further added, “CCIL is expanding and diversifying its product and services portfolio that it offers to members. We plan to invest Rs. 350 crores into a chain of 100 fitness centers across the country in the next four years. This fitness center at Jaipur will have a dedicated booking desk for members to chalk-out their vacation plans at ease.”

Country Club initially plans to focus on multiple locations in major metros. Thereafter, CCIL would foray into tier two cities with the aim of establishing a pan India network. CCIL, which is on an international expansion mode, also intends to take this fitness initiative offshore to boost its NRI memberships.
