The new userfriendly interface of the MapChart manager

The new userfriendly interface of the MapChart manager

The MapChart Manager launches its extended interface on the 16th of July – the MapChart Plus Interface – and an advanced output spectrum for the growing groups of users in already 7 European countries. Therefore the up to now most comprehensive web-based solution for geomarketing and the procuration of market data by MapChart is now available for more than 1,000 users.

As a leading niche supplier for thoroughly web-based geomarketing solutions for marketing and sales, MapChart offers a complete answer from the data purchase to the implementation and planning together with the customer. The new MapChart Manager is using the newest Web 2.0 technologies, along with newly added intelligent GIS-features.

A well-known challenge in the media planning has been the conversion of different media-layers, like converting a plan that has been made in the postcode-layer into the distribution-area layer.
That might now easily be solved by utilizing the new selection wizard. The advantages of using the MapChart System can´ t be dismissed any more. When it took several days to plan a marketing campaign for 200 branches through manually operated or semi-automatic preparations, it now only takes the users of MapChart a few seconds due to the automation. There is nothing easier than finding areas that are doubly staffed while planning enclosures due to the new viewing mode.
A new user interface uses the screen more effectively than it was possible until now.
Ultimately, the new, process-oriented help-assistant supports the new user in a way that it is even possible for completely new users to get on with the software in a short period of time.

The MapChart Manager and the complementary services like the MapChart Store or the interactive map-technology MapChart Stage are based on the current JAVA technology. The system runs as well on the most recent operating system by Microsoft VISTA as on Mac OS, which is very popular in the area of marketing agencies.

The new program-architecture makes the software faster than ever – especially for complex requests or large amounts of data and there are even more features for geomarketing available. The interfaces to specific ERP-, CRM- or Business Intelligence solutions have been greatly enlarged.

The founder and CEO of MapChart, Henrik Liebscher says: “With the most recent release we are setting new benchmarks once again for spatial business Information and we show what is possible today. MapChart offers everything what a decision maker wants from an efficient platform. It offers inimitable efficiency, a maximum of ergonomics as well as a grad of networking, due to the included user community that is unique. Our platform therefore underlines our claim: The cutting edge in web-based Geo Business Intelligence!”
