Youth Art Show Being Held at Twin Oaks Gallery in San Marcos

Come and experience the beautiful artwork of the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos. There will be four types of art mediums on display, created by the talented youth members aged 6-18. The local exhibit winner presentation will be at 7:00pm. Winners will go on to compete at a regional level. Come out and show your support for our local Boys & Girls Club!
About Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos
The Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos is part of a nationwide movement to help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. The Club is committed to serving the needs of boys and girls 6 to 18 years of age during the critical hours when they are out of school and away from parental supervision. The Club gives children what they need most: a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves; adult role models who respect and listen to them; and interesting and constructive educational and recreational activities that channel youthful energy into challenging and productive pursuits.
Today, nearly 3,000 young people are taking advantage of the programs, activities and services provided by the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos. Our vision is to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who comes through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
About Twin Oaks Gallery
Twin Oaks Gallery Art & Frame opened in 2008 and has built its reputation on family friendly events, art shows, and emerging local artists. Their encouragement of creativity to the local community has created endless opportunities to the local colleges, high schools and other education avenues. The gallery has also made a name for itself with local businesses and within the San Marcos community supporting the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, City Council, Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos, and the Historical Society.
Twin Oaks Gallery offers a variety of services ranging from custom designed frames to hosting of artist showings and gallery events. They pride themselves on quality framing and take special care on each piece. Their services include custom framing, canvas stretching, shadow boxes, conservation and preservation framing, fabric wraps, and more!
