The -RFID to ride- RFID tickets from TECTUS Transponder Technology, Moers Germany were defined just at the right time. Having got many requests from customers who were dissatisfied with old-fashioned ticketing solutions the RFID experts from TECTUS have defined RFID transponders (often called TAGs) which meet perfectly the requirements of the industry and especially of public transport by bus, tram, railway, air traffic and similar applications like big trade fairs and events.

The –RFID to ride- ticket products from TECTUS are based on HF (high frequency) 13,56 MHz RFID technology with capability of high communication data rates. This allows the reading of RFID tickets in very short and reasonable time. Line of sight as usual with barcode or precise positioning of the RFID tickets necessary with magnetic stripe technology are not needed. Furthermore the advantage by using RFID based tickets is the multiple times higher security against anti-counterfeiting and falsification compared with the old fashioned technologies.

-RFID to ride- paper- or thin plastic tickets come in ISOcard size (86mm x 54mm x 0,6mm) where logos and passenger data are customised printable. Optional RFID chip types are types from NXP mifare® series like ultralight typically used as time limited use during rides, trade fairs and bigger events.
