Marketing Specialist Comes Home

Blackpool Solicitors Blackhurst Budd has become the first Fylde Coast based firm to appoint an in house Marketing Manager.
Paul Coombes, from South Shore, has joined the business having worked for a large Manchester firm for four years. The appointment is the latest development for the firm having been established in 2009 following the merger of four Blackpool practices.

During the past two months the firm has been successful in retaining the Lexcel practice management standard and membership of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).

Blackhurst Budd formed in 2009 following the merger of Blackhursts LLP, John Budd & Co, LSC Solicitors and Coope, Purvis and Taylor to create the largest firm of Solicitors in the Fylde Coast. The firm has two offices in central Blackpool on Edward Street and Church Street, employing 57 people.

In 2010 the firm attained Lexcel, the Law Society’s practice management standard just 15 months after the merger took place.
In 2011 Blackhurst Budd was the first firm in the Fylde Coast to become members of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), the quality standard for the home buying process.
