EVS Translations

The top decision-makers in the world of energy are meeting again in London this year at the Gastech and Petex exhibitions.
Atlanta-based EVS Translations USA is the only translation company with a stand at the premier natural gas and petroleum industry conferences and exhibition events. Gastech and Petex bring together thousands of commercial and technical industry professionals for networking, new business opportunities, exchange of ideas and to showcase the latest innovations and developments across the natural gas and then oil industry.
Florian Schweiger from EVS Translations who will be present on the stand commented, “With its particular focus documentation related to the exploration, extraction, refining, and delivery of petroleum and gas products, the company leverages its multi-national presence and in-house teams of industry specific translators in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia to translate in 30 languages”.
Examples of work included putting together a team of 20 for Greenlandic, a country with only 50,000 men, women and children. Very often when exploration or drilling takes place, extensive documentation is required in English and the local language. Examples include extensive reports about the impact on the environment or legal documentation and also working equipment or instructions about safety requirements for helicopter landing on rigs.
