Our plantation

Singapore, 1 October 2012 – BiofuelsAsia Private Limited announces the successful acquisition of 962 hectares of leasehold land in Cambodia for the development of a multi-crop plantation. The land area is almost 10 kilometres square in size.
“The land will be planted with corn, tapioca and jatropha. As prices for soft commodities are at record highs, these crops will deliver excellent returns for our company and also increase the general availability of food to consumers,” said Richard Yong, CEO of BiofuelsAsia Pte Ltd.
The company will be marketing part of the land to investors to generate cash for further development of their Cambodian plantation. This generates an exciting opportunity for investors to participate in the booming biofuels sector as well as the fast developing Cambodian economy.

BiofuelsAsia is setup with a mission to pursue alternative energy focusing on South-east Asia. Our team of scientific and technical advisors have expertise in plant-based research such as photosynthesis and plant hormones. We are developing a 2000 hectare cassava and jatropha plantation
