Open Source ECM for Scandinavia: WeWebU and Redpill Linpro announce Partnership
Herzogenaurach, 10/02/2012 – WeWebU Software AG, the maker of OpenWorkdesk, and Redpill Linpro, leading provider of professional Open Source services and products in the Nordic region, have agreed upon cooperation. From now, Redpill Linpro will resell, implement and support WeWebU OpenWorkdesk based on the Alfresco Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.WeWebU OpenWorkdesk is the best way of realizing content centric business applications. It runs on-premise as well as in the cloud. It is outstanding because of its unbeaten usability in any internet browser. WeWebU MobileWorkdesk brings the same usability to the iPad and integrates mobile users fully into processes and workflows. WeWebU OpenWorkdesk isand the first choice of many organizations that require maximum throughput and efficiency when using their ECM systems. Since OpenWorkdesk requires no installation on the client side, users can access their applications literally from everywhere. Although it comes with a pure web front-end it is as user friendly as a fat client. With WeWebU Zero-Install Desktop Integration, WeWebU even goes one step further: It allows using the ECM system intuitively and with virtually no training effort from a wide range of desktop applications like Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat X (even the free Reader) but also from Open Source programs like LibreOffice, OpenOffice or Notepad++.
