AVL Emission Test System GmbH was named the winner of Bronze Stevie® Awards in the categories “new product of the year” and “best management team” in the 9th Annual International Business Awards today.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2012 IBA’s received entries from more than 50 nations and territories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to AVL and other winners at a gala awards banquet at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Seoul, South Korea on 15 October.

More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.

AVL Emission Test Systems GmbH attended the IBA in 2012 for the first time and won directly in the 2 great categories for New Product and Best Management Team.

Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
