Divamas Storms into the Chinese Mobile Space with “Siew Wan, Siew Kat” virtual characters

Kuala Lumpur, July 4, 2007 – Divamas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nextnation Communication and a leading creative consulting firm, specialized in media planning as well as Internet turn-key projects today announced the birth of “Siew Wan, Siew Kat” which were particularly designed for Chinese markets world wide. For the next 3 months, Divamas plans to launch mobile contents based on these innovative and cute virtual characters, especially for the cell phone users.

These mobile contents include mobile comics, jokes, wallpapers, animated wallpapers and MSN icons which are expected to be available on mobile market in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China starting this quarter. Other mobile content such as ring tones and mobile games will be introduced by 4th quarter of this year.

‘Siew Wan, Siew Kat’ is based on a story about two very good friends who love to compete with each other by sharing their jokes. Siew Wan, a pink hippo, is self-centered and likes to confront Siew Kat with bundles of IQ tests. She is naturally cute and attractive. On the other hand, Siew Kat, a humorous cow, loves to ask Siew Wan with a lot of funny questions. He usually tries to humor Siew Wan with his jokes but unfortunately, most of jokes are not amusing and funny at all. Siew Kat also has a very straight personality.
