New sports betting and racing software for self-serve Kiosks launched internationally by BEToptions

Victoria, Australia – June 29, 2007: BEToptions, a leading developer of integrated software and wagering systems for the gaming industry, is pleased to announce the launch of its BetPOS software for self-service terminals and kiosks, offering casinos, bookmakers, racecourses, and other land-based gaming and wagering operators a new retail betting interface.

In addition, BEToptions have signed a letter of intent with a major international distributor of gaming equipment and software to supply the BEToptions BetPOS software. Subject to obtaining regulatory approval from the appropriate authorities, the first kiosks will be rolled out later this year.

BetPOS was created in response to customer demand for an innovative, fast and reliable retail betting interface that could be self service, stand alone, hardware independent and reasonably priced. It allows customers to access their accounts with payment options such as credit card, or bet with cash from any location.

Self service kiosks with attractive customer interfaces, coupled with easy to use help screens and instructive video loops, have also been proven to attract a younger market to the sports, racing and overall betting industry.

The software incorporates robust technology and operates on most standard hardware platforms including touchscreen kiosks, in addition to portability via mobile products such as laptops and cell phones. While BetPOS is not reliant on a specific brand or type of hardware, a complete solution is available as a result of a non exclusive partnership between BEToptions and KTL Technologies, New Zealand. KTL is a design and hardware supplier, with over 1000 retail and self service terminals operating in New Zealand for the NZ TAB and racing industry.

The BetPOS customer interface is built using cutting edge internet technology, and incorporates state of the art graphics, and the ability for operators to customise the application to include such multimedia offerings as video feeds and advertising loops.
