Four New Essays on the Philosophy of Being
August 1, 2012Our common statements about God are void, our natural science ignores its own truth criteria, our ethics is guilty of much too weak standards, and our philosophy is ignorant of the fundamentals of our being.
These are the drastic diagnoses of four new essays that the author Rainer Bruno Zimmer has published today in the internet. He is thereby following up his Trilogy on Genuine Religion of 2009, this time focusing more on the philosophical view of being.
It becomes clear, how much we miss if we fail to see, and our culture fails to convey, the basic traits of our being. Still, Zimmer is not pessimistic, because "our being is disposed in such a way that we advance life, and the advancement of life is indeed effective".
